DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025: Assam’s Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) has started the registration process for the lower primary and upper primary schools within the state. The Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025 application window will be open till March 31, 2025. The authority will appoint teachers to 4500 vacant positions in lower and upper elementary schools around the state. There are 2,900 vacant positions for lower primary school assistant teachers and 1,600 vacant positions for upper primary school assistant teachers, science teachers, and Hindi teachers.

According to the notification, selection will be based on merit, considering academic qualifications like Higher Secondary (or equivalent), graduation, Diploma in Education, and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) performance.

- Depending on whether they are applying to lower or upper elementary schools, candidates must clear either the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET).
- The candidate's chosen language of instruction must be the same as the language used in the CTET or ATET qualification, including Language 1 or Language 2.
DEE Assam Teacher Recruitment 2025: Age Limit
- Candidates should be between 18 and 40 years old on January 1st in order to be considered for the Assam teacher recruitment. Age relaxation will get reserved categories for students.
- Individuals are not eligible for this recruitment if they have more than two kids who were born on or after January 1, 2021.
