CLAT 2025 Delhi HC Hearings Updates: A number of candidates approached the Delhi High Court, expressing concern over errors in the final answer key and seeking a new merit list. The court, which had previously recognised errors in some questions, was to give its verdict today. But the Delhi High Court has adjourned the hearing of petitions against the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 results to April 7, 2025, prolonging the uncertainty for thousands of law aspirants.

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 was held on December 1, 2024, thousands of candidates competed for LLB and LLM seats at NLUs throughout India. After the examination, some candidates complained about errors in the answer key, stating multiple mistakes. The hefty objection fee of Rs 1,000 also came under criticism.

Following multiple petitions, a single-judge bench in the Delhi High Court ordered the Consortium of NLUs to revise the results and publish a revised answer key. This order was also upheld by a division bench subsequently. The Consortium approached the Supreme Court in search of relief, which transferred all cases related to CLAT 2025 to the Delhi High Court for consistency of orders.

The April 7 hearing will be the deciding factor for whether the results of CLAT 2025 are revised or not. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will soon initiate the CLAT 2025 Counselling process, but the delay comes from the Delhi High Court's judgment on the re-evaluation of the exam results.

The passing marks for CLAT 2025 will be decided by the cut-off of the Consortium of NLUs, which may change every year based on the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and available seats. The admissions are given on the basis of rank and cut-off marks decided by the NLUs across the country.
