Political Science CBSE Class 12 Exam: Mixed Reviews from Students and Teachers

The CBSE Class 12 Political Science exam received mixed reviews from both students and faculty. According to Manisha Verma, Senior Faculty in Political Science at VidyaGyan School, the exam was generally moderate to partially difficult, with the paper being lengthy. She noted that Set 1 was the easiest among the three, with general and direct questions, particularly from the World Politics section, which were straightforward and required simple, direct answers. However, the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) posed a challenge, being slightly tricky and requiring careful reading. Verma highlighted that the 6-mark questions were structured to ask for answers in three points, making it easier for students to elaborate on each.

Pranjal, a student who received Set 3, shared that he found the paper easy and scoring, though it was still lengthy. He emphasised that his thorough preparation made the process of writing answers smoother and more efficient.

Janvi, another student, described the paper as moderate and quite lengthy, noting that while there were a few direct questions, it required an in-depth understanding of the NCERT text. She concluded that students who had studied thoroughly from the NCERT textbook would likely score very well.
