CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2025 Paper Review: The Central Board of Secondary Education concluded the CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2025 today, March 8, 2025. The CBSE class 12th mathematics and applied mathematics papers were held in single shifts between 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. CBSE Class 12 Mathematics Paper 2025 Analysis:

The CBSE Class 12 Mathematics paper 2025 has received mixed feedback from students and educators. According to Pankaj Kumar Gupta, Senior PGT Mathematics at VidyaGyan School in Sitapur, the paper was lengthy but moderately difficult, making it manageable for most students. He noted that a majority of the questions were sourced from NCERT and RD Sharma textbooks, and the questions across all sets were largely similar. The case-based questions, in particular, were considered simple.

Student Feedback:

Garima, a student at VidyaGyan School, mentioned that "Set 2 was quite challenging, especially the MCQs. However, almost all the 3 and 5-mark questions were directly from NCERT."

Chandan, another student, found "Set 3 easier, with the MCQs being very simple. He emphasised that a calm and focused mindset helped in answering the questions carefully."

Aakash, also a student, added, "With consistent practice from NCERT, scoring 100 marks is very achievable."

The CBSE 12th Maths paper was designed to assess students' understanding and application at different levels. Multiple-choice questions, short answer, extremely short answer, assertion-reason, and case-based questions were all included in the paper. The paper carried a total of 80 marks.

CBSE Class 12 Maths Exam 2025: Marking Scheme

- Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) and Assertion-Reason Questions: 20 questions, 1 mark each.

- Very Short Answer Questions: 5 questions, 2 marks each.

- Short Answer Questions: 6 questions, 3 marks each.

- Long Answer Questions: 4 questions, 5 marks each.

- Source-Based/Case-Based Questions: 3 questions, 4 marks each.

The CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams are held for about 44 lakh students in 8,000 schools in India and overseas. The CBSE board Class 12 exams will finish on April 4, 2025.
