Allahabad University UG Counselling 2026: The University of Allahabad has started its undergraduate (UG) admission process for the 2026-27 academic session. The counselling and admission process began on July 23 and will be conducted through the university's Samarth Admission Portal.
The university has also begun preparations for the counselling process by training Undergraduate Admission Coordinators of different courses. A meeting of the coordinators was held at Pravesh Bhawan on July 23, where they were briefed about the counselling and admission procedures to be followed through the Samarth portal.

For the 2026-27 academic session, the university is offering admission to 12 four-year undergraduate programmes, along with the B.A.-B.Ed. Integrated Programme and six five-year integrated programmes.
The first cut-off for individual UG courses will be published on the university's UG admission webpage.

Who can pay the admission fee?
Candidates should note that merely participating in the counselling process does not automatically make them eligible to pay the admission fee.
As per the university guidelines, only those applicants who have been successfully verified and shortlisted by the Admission Coordinator of the respective course shall be allowed to make the payment of the admission fee.
The shortlisted candidates need to pay the fee before the deadline stated in the admission schedule. In case of non-payment within the stated deadline, there would be a cancellation of the seat assigned to the applicant and the same may be provided to another eligible candidate.

Allahabad University has also instructed applicants to keep the email ID and mobile number provided at the time of registration live during the entire admission procedure.
All communication regarding application verification, counselling, document verification and fee payment will be done through the registered contact details.
