In an extraordinary achievement, Aditya Ankhad, the grandson of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, has secured an All India Rank 4 in the recently held Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), also emerging as the Maharashtra state topper. This stellar performance is a testament to Aditya’s dedication, hard work, and passion for law, a field he is eager to pursue, much like his grandfather.

Academics, Leadership, and CLAT Prep

Aditya, currently serving as the Head Boy at the renowned Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai, has been preparing for the CLAT exam for over 1.5 years. His academic excellence, coupled with his leadership role at school, speaks volumes about his ability to balance multiple responsibilities.

Despite the demanding nature of the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, one of the most rigorous education systems globally, Aditya successfully juggled his school activities with his preparation for the prestigious entrance exam.

In a move that stands out in today’s globalized world, Aditya has chosen to pursue his higher studies in India, while many of his peers are opting to study abroad. “India has a rich and diverse legal system, and I believe the best opportunities for my legal career are here. I’m excited to contribute to my country, and hope that someday I can make a difference in India,” says Aditya, reinforcing his commitment to making a difference in his homeland.

Career in law

The 18-year-old’s journey is one of discipline and perseverance. His ability to maintain a high academic standard while excelling in leadership roles at school has set him apart as a bright future legal scholar. As he prepares for the next step in his legal career, Aditya is set to join the ranks of some of the brightest minds in the field of law, following in the footsteps of his grandfather’s enduring legacy of public service.

With his sights now firmly set on studying law in India, Aditya’s decision reflects his confidence in the country’s legal education system and his desire to contribute meaningfully to the nation. As he takes his first steps toward a career in law, his future looks incredibly bright.
