India will play their World Cup 2019 opener tomorrow (June 5) against South Africa, about one week after the first match between England and South Africa was played on May, 30. Every other team have played at least one match, and some of the teams like England, South Africa and Pakistan have already played 2 games but India is yet to play their World Cup 2019 opener. India played warm-up match against Bangladesh on May 28, 2019 and spent a lot of days at practice session as the first match is scheduled for tomorrow.

Meanwhile, India will play its first match against South Africa tomorrow at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. South Africa is suffering setback as Lungi Ngidi will not be playing due to injury and pacer Dale Steyn has been ruled out of the tournament due to shoulder injury.
