Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced its squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2022.

The world cup is to take place in Australia next month. Harshal Patel and Jasprit Bumrah return to the squad after missing the Asia Cup due to injury.

Ravindra Jadeja who was ruled out of the Asia Cup after sustaining an injury against Pakistan in the opener, continues to be sidelined.

Squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Harshal Patel, Arshdeep Singh.

Standby players - Mohammed Shami, Shreyas Iyer, Ravi Bishnoi, Deepak Chahar.
