Mumbai: Ex-corportor Razzak Khan and his son Amjad Khan have were sent to judicial custody till November 28 on Wednesday in connection with RTI activist Bhupendra Vira murder case. Vira was shot dead at his residence in Kalina on October 15.
Amjad has confessed to his crime, saying he was solely behind Vira’s murder and his father was not aware of his plan. He has also said that his father was upset with the number of notices Vira had managed to send to them for illegal constructions.
Rajjak is a local land mafia and the deceased had taken up a fight against his illegal construction activities in and around Kalina.
