Municipal Commissioner Prathibha Pal took the stock of arrangements made at polling booths across the city and instructed officials to ensure lighting, potable water and other arrangements. The teams of public health engineering department and health department were also deployed at election material distribution centre located in government engineering college. Commissioner Pal inspected Khakchowk, Bhairavgarh and Siddhavat areas for taking stock of cleanliness.
She penalised Sengar Company Rs 10,000 for filthiness. She also fined Ratan Company Rs 5,000 and Sulabh complex manager Rs 5,000 for not maintaining cleanliness. The commissioner also inspected polling booths and for checking arrangements there.
School students to perform at Kartik Mela today
Cultural programme will be organised at Kartik Mela on Tuesday by school students. The programme will start on 7 pm in which students of Jugral Montessori School, Guardian Guide Public School and MG Convent School will present dances.
