Ujjain: The crime branch police raided a brothel and arrested four persons including three women in Ujjain on Monday. Acting on a tip-off, crime branch sleuths raided Basant Vihar Colony brothel, where a sex racket was being operated for a long time.
The sex racket was being done by the kingpin Kusum (45), and her agent Satish Kumar Rathore at house number B-29/1 at Basant Vihar Colony, under Nanakheda police area. During the raid the police also caught Pinky and Shumi Khan alias Jyoti, a resident of Mumbai.
Kusum had been conducting the unholy business since the year 2012-13. She would show photographs of call girls from Mumbai and Kolkata to customers through WhatsApp and sent them to customers using her vehicle and a rental car, reliable sources disclosed.
