Indian television actress Tina Datta who is recently working in a horror TV show Daayan opened up about being in an abusive relationship for five years. The actress never wanted to go public with her relationship but felt it was high time she spoke up. Tina broke up with the person in 2015.
While talking to Bombay Times, tina admitted that herrelationship became abusive physically, emotionally, and verbally and that shehad to end it. She also revealed that her ex-boyfriend used to beat her infront of friends, she said, “I was in a relationship with a non-industry guyfor five years. We had met through common friends. But I called time on it,because he was extremely abusive, verbally and physically. I would get bashedup even in front of my friends. I went bonkers to an extent that my confidencetook a beating. I never wanted to go public with my relationship, but I feelthat it’s time to speak up.”
While talking about settling down and getting married shesaid, “I want to settle down and not go about having affairs and thennursing heartbreaks. I have always wanted a love marriage, but God is notsending anyone my way. I don’t want to marry someone from the industry,especially an actor, as the relationship will be marred by insecurities. I haveseen several failed marriages between actors,” said the actress to thedaily.
