Indore: Three girls were molested and eve-teased in three separate incidents, police said on Tuesday. In two cases, the accused thrashed the victims when they objected to the act. The police are investigating the case.
In first incident, the girl who lives in Tukoganj area with her family had gone to Simrol for some work. She was coming out from dhaba where she was molested by a youth. Victim in his complaint stated that she stopped at a dhaba when accused Manish Yadav reached there.
He held both of her hands and started molesting her. She cried for help when one of his accomplices also reached there and they later thrashed her family members. Later, the accused fled from there after threatening them of dire consequences. Simrol police station booked the accused under IPC sections and search is on for the accused.
In another incident, a married woman residing in a village under Simrol police station lodged a complaint that she was molested by accused Mukesh Patel of the same village. She was returning home from when the accused stopped him on the way and he started molesting her. Victim cried for help when some villagers reached there after which the accused fled from there after threatening her.
Another victim lodged a complaint with Khajrana police station staff that she was alone at home on Monday when accused Faizal Masoori of Khajrana barged in her house and held her hand. The girl cried for help when the accused thrashed her and threatened her before fleeing from there. The police have registered a case against the accused and started searching for him.
Unidentified youth enters girl’s house
An unidentified youth barged into the house of a girl at Khatiwala Tank when she was alone at home in the evening. She was shocked to see unidentified person inside the home. Accused started making obscene gestures at her. She told him to go back and cried for help after which the accused fled from there. The police are examining the CCTV cameras installed around the spot to identify the accused.
