Ujjain: City BJP unit organised a Dussehra get together for leaders and party workers on Wednesday. Party workers shared sweets and exchanged greetings.
Media in-charge Sachin Saxena said the get together ceremony began bygarlanding the statue of martyrs Rajabhau Mahakal and Balram Joshi at Shahid Park. City president Iqbal Singh Gandhi presided over the programme. The event was observed as victory day and was dedicated to the soldiers who launched surgical strike against Pakistani terrorists. In his address, Member of Parliament, Chintamani Malviya said, the country had finally found a firm leader in PM Modi who had sent the stern message of India’s strength through the strikes, across the globe.
MLAs Mohan Yadav, Anil Firozia, divisional organising secretary Rakesh Dagor, Babulal Jain, mayor MeenaJonwal, minister Paras Jain, UDA chairman Jagdish Agrawal and others were present. Satyanarayan Chouhan conducted the programme.
