Mumbai: Private sector lender Yes Bank today posted a 26.5 per cent jump in net profit to Rs 610.41 crore for the second quarter ended September 30. The bank had recorded a net profit of Rs 482.54 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal, Yes Bank said in a statement. The total income of the bank also increased to Rs 3,995.34 crore during the quarter from Rs 3,337.97 crore in the corresponding period of 2014-15 fiscal. During the quarter, the gross Non-performing Assets (NPAs) increased to 0.61 per cent from 0.36 per cent at the end of second quarter of 2014-15. At the same time, net NPA of the bank also rose to 0.20 per cent from 0.09 per cent of the total assets.
