For many, 'woke' or being available and aware to accommodate is seen as a sign and a result of progressive thinking, as it takes a compassionate approach to seeing the world.
Elon Musk's War On Wokeness
Over the recent past, however, political correctness, 'Wokeness' and liberalism have come under attack at different points globally.
Elon Musk, who has ushered in his ultra-right realm of politics and thinking, has become the most recent champion of the anti-woke policies.
Musk, the boss of Tesla, SpaceX, X, the Boring company, among others, has gone on a rampage against what he calls the Wokeness Virus.
He has tried to clampdown and scrutinise every progressive policy not just in the US, but also around the globe.
Wokeness and Comedy
Adding to his chapters in the book of alternative right thinking, Musk, while speaking at the podcast, once again underscored his views.
On the question of the apparent destructiveness of the ideology, Musk said, "I understand your opinions too. But, you know, like, I mean, generally, I think we should be aiming for like a positive society and, you know, it should be okay to, you know, be humorous."

Musk, here chose to focus on comedy and humor specifically, eluding other facets of liberalism, that he calls Woke Virus.
Hateful and Cruel
Harping further on comedy and who it has been affected by wokeness, Musk said, "Like, you know, like we should, we should like, like wokeness basically wants to make comedy illegal, which is not cool. We've experienced a lot of that. I mean, Chappelle, like what the... Flowerbed."

Focusing on a supposed humourless society, Musk further added, "I mean, try to shut down Chappelle. Come on, man. That's crazy. So, you know, so do we want a humorless society that is simply rife with condemnation and hate, basically? And no forgiveness, right? Yeah."
