Vadodara: Vodafone India will launch global design stores in all cities of Gujarat, a top executive of the mobile services provider said today.

“We have invested Rs 400 crore in Gujarat in last six months for strengthening our network. We have set up 10,000 towers in the state and already have a customer base of 1.74 crores,” said Brajesh Bajpai, Business Head (Gujarat circle), Vodafone.

He was speaking to reporters after inaugurating a global design store at Sun-Mars Complex here on Nizampura Main Road.

The mobile service provider had opened similar stores in Surat and Ahmedabad earlier.

“Vodafone’s global design stores are in line with its initiative to deliver unmatched retail experience to customers.

“Keeping in mind the trend of increasing smart phone penetration and mobile internet usage, Vodafone has taken an innovative approach in retail design. The new store concept is designed and equipped to be customer-friendly, and to meet their evolving needs and expectations,” Bajpai said.

The store offers live and engaging retail experience of Vodafone’s wife range of products and services, he added.
