Stock market movers: Top 10 winners and losers on BSE, NSE on June 1

The benchmark indices --Sensex and Nifty, ended marginally lower after range-bound trade on Tuesday as investors booked profits at higher levels amid largely positive cues from global markets.

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 2.56 points lower at 51,934.88, while the broader NSE Nifty slipped 7.95 points or 0.05 per cent to 15,574.85.

ICICI Bank was the top loser in the Sensex pack, shedding nearly 2 percent, followed by UltraTech Cement, Asian Paints, ITC, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank and PowerGrid.

On the other hand, ONGC, Bajaj Finance, SBI, Bajaj Auto and HDFC were among the gainers.

Sensex gainers

ONGC: The stock was the top winner of the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day high of 118.40 before closing at 117.65, up 4 points or 3.52 percent.

Bajaj Finance: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 5817 before closing at Rs 5786.10, up 164.95 points or 2.93 percent.

State Bank of India: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 435.20 before closing at Rs 432.60, up 8.35 points or 1.97 percent.

HDFC: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 2609.50 before closing at Rs 2579.35; up 25.80 points 1.01 percent.

Bajaj Auto: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 4347.95 before closing at Rs 4230.05, up 40.55 points or 0.97 percent

Sensex losers

ICICI Bank: It was the top loser of the Sensex pack. The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 648.30 before closing at Rs 650.25, down 11.95 points or (-) 1.80 percent.

UltraTech Cement: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 6560 before closing at Rs 6600.75, down 109.35 points or (-) 1.63 percent.

Asian Paints: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 2915.25 before closing at Rs 2933.15, down 45 points or (-) 1.51 percent.

Axis Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 741.35 before closing at Rs 745.10, down 5.15 points or (-)0.69 percent.

ITC: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 214.20 before closing at Rs 215.20, down 1.40 points or (-)0.65 percent.

Nifty50 gainers

Adani Ports: The top gainer in Nifty50. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 846.50 per piece before closing at Rs 799 per piece, 29.45 points up or 3.83 per cent.

ONGC: It touched an intraday high of Rs 125 to close at Rs 117.55, up 3.90 points or 3.43 percent.

Bajaj Finance: The stock touched intraday high of Rs 6,190.70 to close at Rs 5,775, up 147.05 points or 2.61 percent.

State Bank of India: The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 466.75 before closing at Rs 432.55 per piece, up 8.20 points or 1.93 percent.

HDFC: It touched an intra-day high of Rs 2,808.10 to close at Rs 2,580, up 27.15 points or 1.06 percent up.

Nifty50 losers

JSW Steel: It is the top loser in the Nifty50. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 639.85 to close at Rs 695 per share, down 15.90 points or (-) 2.24 percent.

Tata Steel: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 1,013.10 per piece to close at Rs 1,100 per share, down 24.95 points or (-) 2.22 percent.

ICICI Bank: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 596.50 per share to close at Rs 650.70, down by 12.05 points or (-) -1.82 percent.

Asian Paint: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 2,679.75 per share to close Rs 2,924.90 per share, down 52.60 points or (-) 1.77 percent.

Ultratech Cement: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 6,037.20 per share to close at Rs 6,604.90, down 103.10 points or (-) 1.54 percent.
