Shop CJ to market Thomas Cook India’s Holiday Savings Account packages

Leading home shopping network, Shop CJ Network has forayed into a marketing alliance with Thomas Cook India, to promote Thomas Cook ‘Holiday Savings Account’, an affordable holiday solution for middle India. The marketing alliance between the two is a first of its kind in India. Furthermore, Shop CJ is aspiring turnover of Rs 1200 crore in FY 2016, which is a growth of almost 40 percent.

Commenting on the alliance, Kenny Shin, CEO, Shop CJ Network said, “The home-shopping industry is growing rapidly in India and Shop CJ is expanding its market share by entering into a new segment to create a unique shopping experience for its consumers. Through it marketing alliance, Shop CJ’s wide consumer base will enable Thomas Cook access reach the middle class travellers with its Holiday Savings Account range of 15 tour packages across popular overseas destinations including Europe, Singapore, Thailand, Dubai, Malaysia, Sri Lanka as well as domestic ones like Andaman, Himachal, Kerala, North East, Kashmir, Bhutan, The Golden Triangle and Goa.

Shop CJ is poised to cross INR 1200 crore turnover this year, recording a 40 percent growth over its sales of INR 850 crore achieved in the last fiscal ended Dec 31, 2014. Shop CJ’s reach extends to more than 6.5 crore households in India and currently caters to about 40 per cent of the market and this association with Thomas Cook will serve to enhance its product portfolio with the value proposition of the Holiday Savings Account tour packages, stated a release.
