Clothing is a crucial avenue in the socio-economic segment. With changing preferences and expanding cultural expectations, many have looked towards more aspirational styles and senses of clothing.
Many have experimented with style and themes. One such company, that appears to have an abstruse style of its own, Darcissist, which claims to seel "Edgy" clothing items to men, has decided to put sale sign on its business.
In an anonymous post on Reddit, the user in the subreddit, IndiaBusiness said, "Selling my Clothing Startup."
He claimed the company's name to be 'Darcissist.'.
The user claimed that the TG audience for the products is men aged 18 to 25.

Redditors React
Some Redditors, who are part of the conversation, reacted to the post and asked questions, and made observations.
Gen Z's are price-sensitive TG.
One user commented, "1800 gross orders in 6 months . I.e approx 10 orders a day. ( Low)
18 L revenue with 700+ orders. With an ASP of ~2500. ( Seems a bit high)
You are focussing the Gen Z's. They are price sensitive TG.
Work on your ASP. I am assuming you are keeping your PM very high as its sourced from Tirupur
You got to consider your competition too while finalising the brand positioning."

One the question of the reason for the sale, the account the post said, "I am working full time in Corporate, last two months my work got very hectic and I couldn’t spend the necessary time to run this. This will be very successful if anyone can put the required time and scale it globally."
Your design sucks, very cringy and lame
One Redditor took the post down heavily, and said the following, "Your design sucks, very cringy and lame; this would’ve worked in 2012 but not in 2025 anymore. It might work in t2-t3 city audience but true Gen Z who come from an absolute urban background will not give 2 fucks about it.
Even the model on your insta page looks a 30 yr old with no sense of aesthetic and fashion.
Instead of running it as an online business maybe sell it at offline retail in towns and cities. Will do good."
