SBI set to raise Rs 10,000 cr through sale of infrastructure bonds

The bonds sold by SBI will be used for financing infrastructure projects through loans.

According to an exchange filing, public sector lender State Bank of India's board has approved the sale of bonds to raise Rs 10,000 crore.

The SBI will be selling infrastructure bonds, which are used for financing new roads, bridges and power plants via loans.
