Mumbai: Reliance Power announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 64.71 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, ended 30 June 2026. This is a rise from the consolidated net profit of Rs 44.68 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Revenue Performance
The company's consolidated revenue from operations stood at Rs 1,956.32 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. This represents a 3.75% increase from Rs 1,885.58 crore recorded in the quarter ended 30 June 2025.
Total Income and Expenses
Total consolidated income for the quarter reached Rs 2,103.75 crore, up from Rs 2,025.31 crore in the year-ago period. Total consolidated expenses were Rs 1,987.82 crore for the quarter, compared to Rs 1,953.01 crore in the same quarter last year.
Earnings Per Share
Consolidated basic earnings per share (EPS) for continuing operations was Rs 0.156 for the quarter ended 30 June 2026. This compares to Rs 0.109 in the quarter ended 30 June 2025.
Discontinuing Operations
Profit from discontinuing operations before tax was nominal for the quarter, reflecting an amount below the rounding-off norm adopted by the Group. This category includes the Chitrangi Power Project, MEGL Shahapur Power Project, Wind Project, and Dadri Project.
Board Meeting
The consolidated financial results were approved by the Board of Directors at a meeting held on 6 August 2026. The meeting commenced at 5:00 P.M. and concluded at 6:00 P.M., the company said.
