Reliance Jio has launched the AX6000 Universal Router in India. The new WiFi 6 router comes with Mesh technology that can offer speeds of up to 6,000Mbps, covers about 2,000 square feet area, support 4K streaming and gaming, and much more. It is said to handle 100+ devices with zero lag and comes with WPA3 support for security of data. This router is aimed to offer fast speeds in large homes or multi-storey homes. It is ideal for online gamers, binge watchers, smart home users with multiple connected devices, and large families.
The new Jio AX6000 Universal Router is priced at Rs. 5,999 in India. It allows multiple devices, like phones, laptops, TVs, and smart gadgets, to access high-speed internet simultaneously. Other features like dual-band WiFi, Jio True AI Mesh coverage, and smart home connectivity is also supported. Reliance says that the router only supports IP over DHCP and does not work with IPPOE and PPOE connection setup.
Jio AX6000 is said to offer a coverage of 2,000 square feet. The Wi-Fi speeds is listed to at 4,800Mbps in 5 GHz and 1,200 Mbps in 2.4 GHz. With MU-MIMO and OFDMA support, the router supports 100+ devices simultaneously. The Jio AX6000 has a quad-core chipset, and 4X faster LAN ports. It pairs with the JioHome app. It is said to be compatible with all ISPs, offering seamless connectivity, easy setup, and wide coverage for homes.
The Jio AX6000 router is available on the company website and other ecommerce platforms. Reliance offer one year warranty on the device and six months warranty on the power adapter.
