New Delhi: Farmers across India are waiting for the 20th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana. This scheme gives Rs 6,000 every year to eligible farmers – Rs 2,000 every four months.
The 19th installment was given on 24 February 2025. Now, the 20th installment is expected to come soon. But to get this money, farmers must complete e-KYC.
e-KYC is Now Compulsory
The Central Government has made e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process mandatory. If you haven’t done it yet, do it quickly. This process is very easy and helps the government send the money directly to your Aadhaar-linked bank account.
Two Simple Ways to Do e-KYC
You can complete e-KYC in two easy ways:
- OTP-Based e-KYC (Online Method)
- You can do it on the PM Kisan website or mobile app.
Steps:
- Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
- Click on e-KYC on the homepage
- Enter your Aadhaar number
- Submit the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number
Biometric-Based e-KYC (Offline Method)
If OTP doesn’t work or your mobile is not linked, go to your nearest CSC (Common Service Center) or State Service Center (SSK).
Steps:
Take your Aadhaar card and mobile number
Visit the nearest CSC/SSK
The operator will complete e-KYC using your fingerprint or iris scan
