Oxygen Express offloads more than 610 MT of O2 in Maharashtra

The Oxygen Express has transported 8 tankers with 93.38 MT LMO from Angul to Bale station in Solapur division. Earlier, Maharashtra state has received eight Oxygen Express viz. first from Visakhapatnam to Nagpur/Nashik Road (LMO in 7 tankers), the second from Hapa to Kalamboli (LMO in 3 tankers), third & fourth Angul to Nagpur (4 tankers LMO in each train), fifth Angul to Loni (LMO in 4 tankers), sixth, seventh and eighth Angul to Nagpur (4 tankers LMO in each train)

So far, more than 610 MT has been offloaded in Maharashtra through oxygen express.

Overcoming all hurdles and finding new solutions, Indian Railways is continuing its journey of bringing relief by delivering Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) to various states across the country.

So far, Indian Railways has delivered nearly 12630 MT of LMO in more than 775 tankers to various states across the country. It may be noted that around 200 Oxygen Expresses have completed their journey so far and brought relief to various States.

Railways continue to contribute to the country’s effort in containing the spread of Covid-19 by delivering Liquid Medical Oxygen (LMO) across the country.
