Today, the benchmark indices opened higher, with Nifty around 18100.
The Sensex was up 328 points or 0.54% at 61603.84, and the Nifty was up 89.45 points or 0.5% at 18105.30.
About 1,464 shares advanced, 554 shares declined, and 96 shares were unchanged.
Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, ONGC, Apollo Hospitals, and Tech Mahindra were among the major gainers on Nifty, while the top losers were HDFC Life, SBI Life Insurance, Hero MotoCorp, and Titan Company.
