Indian software industry has been one of the major services export segment and forex earner for the country. During COVID-19 pandemic, as majority of businesses had no option but to offer their services online, software and app development companies have gained market share. Many employees have been shifted from regular office jobs to work-from-home and this has resulted in higher demand for internet services, telecom data, computer hardware and software services.

As per stock market data, automobile companies have reported strong sales after lockdowns were lifted as many people in big cities plan to shift to personal vehicle instead of using public transport.
