The One-day National Conference on Re-defining Legal Education in India: From Classroom to Courtroom will be held on 23rd of March 2019 at SVKM’s Pravin Gandhi College of Law, Mumbai.

The aim of the conference is to conceptualize and formulate a redefinition of legal education to make legal education in India ready for the demands of the future.

In the course of the conference, we propose to engage in critical and constructive debates and discussions aimed at bridging the gap between the methods and curricular in the classroom and the practices made in the courtrooms and beyond.  In this endeavor, we seek to offer a comprehensive and feasible framework of legal education.
