National Association of Realtors (NAR) -India, which represents RERA- registered and licensed real estate professionals nationwide has issued a directive to its members "following MagicBricks' continued practices and communication strategies that disrespect, marginalize, and misrepresent the brokerage profession."

In a statement on Monday, NAR-India president Amit Chopra said with immediate effect, all members have been directed to discontinue all listings and advertisements from MagicBricks; cease all business engagements with MagicBricks until a public apology and commitment to respect brokers is issued; educate clients on the professional role of brokers and counter any misinformation.

"NAR-India stands for ethical practice, professional dignity, and consumer trust. Innovation is welcome but misrepresentation and disrespect are not. Let us uphold the dignity and trust of our profession. Full cooperation is expected from all members," Chopra added.
