Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has sold his apartment in Borivali East for Rs 4.35 crore, as per property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards. The transaction, registered in March 2025, involved a 1,073 sq. ft. unit in Oberoi Realty's Sky City project, which includes premium residential options and modern amenities.

Kumar had purchased the property in 2017 for Rs 2.37 crore, marking an 84% appreciation in value. The sale incurred a stamp duty of Rs 26.1 lakh and registration charges of Rs 30,000. Notably, in January 2025, Kumar sold another unit in the same building for Rs 4.25 crore.

Oberoi Sky City has witnessed significant market activity, with 208 property transactions amounting to Rs 818 crore between March 2024 and February 2025. The average resale price in the project stands at Rs 44,577 per sq. ft.

Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, have also invested in Oberoi Sky City, according to property registration records.

Akshay Kumar, a recipient of the National Film Award and Padma Shri, remains one of Bollywood’s most successful and disciplined actors, known for his versatile performances and social initiatives.
