New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki has delivered another record-breaking year, reinforcing its dominance in the passenger vehicle market with strong domestic demand and rising exports.
The company recorded total annual sales of 24,22,713 units in FY26, surpassing previous highs. Domestic sales stood at 18,61,704 units, while exports reached 4,47,774 units, both setting new records, as detailed in the table on page 2. This marks the third straight year of exceeding 2 million units annually.
In March 2026, Maruti Suzuki sold 2,25,251 units, compared to 1,92,984 units a year earlier. Domestic sales accounted for 1,69,428 units, exports contributed 47,040 units, and sales to other OEMs added 8,783 units, reflecting broad-based demand across segments.
The company saw strong performance in compact and utility vehicle segments. Mini and compact cars together sold 83,530 units in March, while utility vehicles reached 71,356 units. Annual utility vehicle sales stood at 7,60,987 units, highlighting growing consumer preference for SUVs and multi-utility vehicles.
The record performance reflects consistent demand across categories and geographies.
