Malaysia’s CIDB likely to bid for Rs 8000 cr road construction

Jaipur: Malaysia’s Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) has committed to bid for 4000 km of roads worth Rs 8000 crore in the state, Rajasthan Transport and PWD Minister Yunus Khan today said.

The minister, who has just returned from a four-day trip to Malaysia, said during the recent Resurgent Rajasthan Partnership Summit-15, the CIDB had signed MOUs worth Rs 10,000 crore with the State government for roads in Rajasthan. Now, CIDB has shown willingness to bid for 4000 km of roads with an investment of about Rs 8000 crore which will cover 59 road projects, Khan said.
