Vaishali Sagar Chopra has done her masters in Indian folk dancing under the guidance of guru Rooma Banerjee and is currently running Kalanjay Dance Academy with a strength of 600 students.
Her academy has had the opportunity to represent India at various International dance festivals which were held in Italy, Austria, Turkey, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, Portugal and Czech Republic. “THE CHEONAN INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL” held in South Korea from 2nd October-11th October, 2015 was the biggest international folk dance competition in Asia and the third largest in the world. Team India represented by Kalanjay Dance Academy of India won bronze medal, trophy & cash price of US$ 1500. The Indian participants included Hiral, Mansi, Payal, Hasti, Akruti etc. Team India represented by Kalanjay academy also won third prize & bronze medal with US$ 1200 in Street Parade Competition.
