Deadly Terror Attack in Pahalgam |

New Delhi: On April 22, terrorists opened fire in Pahalgam, a tourist area in Jammu and Kashmir. Many families were enjoying pony rides and picnics when the attack happened. 26 people were killed. India blamed Pakistan for supporting the terrorists. Pakistan denied the charge.

India’s Strong Response: Operation Sindoor

India planned a counterattack named Operation Sindoor. The operation started on May 7. It focused on destroying terrorist bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK). Indian officials said they only aimed at terror groups and did not target civilians or the Pakistani army.

Use of SkyStriker Kamikaze Drones

India used SkyStriker drones for the strikes. These drones are like small flying bombs. They hover over an area, find the target, and then crash into it with a blast. The drones are quiet and can fly low without being noticed.

Made in India with Israeli Help

SkyStriker drones are made in Bengaluru. The Adani Group’s Alpha Design Technologies and Israel’s Elbit Security Systems worked together to build them. They can carry 5 to 10 kg of explosives and are guided either by human operators or by their own systems.

Terrorist Groups Targeted

The operation hit 9 terror camps. These camps belonged to terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen. These groups have been blamed for many deadly attacks in India.

Pakistan Tries to Hit Back

After India’s strikes, Pakistan responded with drones and other attacks. But Indian forces stopped them. Officials said India gave a strong reply and did not let things escalate further.

India's New Way of Fighting Terror

Sources said these actions showed India’s new method of dealing with terrorism. The focus was on being firm but not causing a bigger fight. India made it clear that the goal was to stop terror, not to start a war.
