HDFC Bank has announced that UPI services will be closed for 4 hours tomorrow, i.e. on 12th July. The reason is the necessary maintenance of the system. That means during this time, one will not be able to use the UPI service linked to your HDFC account.

HDFC Bank has informed its customers through email that the bank's UPI service will be temporarily closed from 2:30 am to 6:30 am (total 4 hours) on July 12, 2025. During this time, the bank will carry out necessary maintenance and improvement work in its system.

For the convenience of the customers, the bank has suggested that they can use the PayZapp wallet during this period so that the transactions can be done without any hassle.

HDFC Bank has apologised for the inconvenience caused to the customers and said that this work is being done to improve the quality and security of the service. The bank has appealed to the customers for cooperation. If there is an important payment or transaction and you only have an HDFC Bank account, then settle it before 2:30 am on July 12. Use PayZapp or other options instead of UPI during this period. After system maintenance, the service will start normally from 6:30 am.

If one has to make a payment during these 4 hours and one has an account in any bank other than HDFC Bank, then one can use the UPI service of that bank. This temporary disruption is a step towards making the bank's service more robust and secure.

HDFC Bank (Housing Development Finance Corporation Bank) is India's largest private bank, established in 1994. This bank has established its trusted identity in the field of financial services, digital banking and customer service. HDFC Bank has promoted digital banking a lot in the past years.
