Here is a phone that scores full marks on its looks, but probably misses out on some key features. Let’s take a look at the Gionee F103 Pro
Gionee’s latest launch F103 Pro carries on the legacy of the phone that ensures user satisfaction on most points, however, it fails to offer customer delight. Nonetheless, being a budget phone, it doesn’t disappoint to a great extent.
From the looks of it
The phone cover consists of a plastic body that almost has a metal look and feel to it. It has a good grip owing to its matte finish and curved back.
Screen & Resolution
The phone has an LCD screen with a decent resolution of 1280 x 720p making it appropriate for most tasks. You would be disappointed if gaming is something you dig in a smart phone.
Android and Gionee’s own
Gionee has its own user interface called Amigo Paper. The Gionee F103 Pro runs on the latest 6.0.1 version of Android. Overall, the smart phone offers features like story locker, multi task display customisation, app permission, themes and so on.
Performance
The phone runs on MediaTek 6735 quad-core processor with a generous 3GB RAM. This combination ensures smooth performance even when the smart phone is subject to multi tasking. The phone lacks on the battery though, with 2400 mAh, which does not suffice for even an entire day.
Take a pic
The phone comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. When clicked in proper lighting, the camera performance is quite decent, watch out for pictures shot in poor lighting though.
Conclusion
We would like to conclude by stating that there are other phones priced as much as the Gionee F103 Pro but those can outperform F103 Pro.
