Elon Musk Turns On UK Far-Right Leader And 'Former Friend' Nigel Farage Weeks After Vowing To Donate Millions To His Party

This apparent turn of tides is being attributed to Farage's stance against UK far-right activist Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson. Robinson is currently serving an 18-month jail term for contempt of court in the UK.

Elon Musk, the richest man on earth (has a net worth of over USD 424 billion) and the head of some of the leading tech companies including Tesla, SpaceX and X has now trained his guns against British far-right politician and Elon Musk ally, at least until last week, Nigel Farage.

Elon Musk Turns On Ally

Musk known for his erratic demeanour took to his to say, "The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes."

This apparent turn of tides is being attributed to Farage's stance against UK far-right activist Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon aka Tommy Robinson. Robinson is currently serving an 18-month jail term for contempt of court in the UK.

Of late, Musk, who once (barely few weeks ago) said he would donate millions to Nigel Farage's Reform UK Party, appears to have changed his mind.

Farage has decided to not espouse Robinson, and said he was surprised by Musk's decision. In an interview, he said, that he does not wish to sell his principles, and will not change his stance on Tommy Robinson.

In a post reacting to Musk's X post, Farage said, "Well, this is a surprise! Elon is a remarkable individual but on this, I am afraid I disagree. My view remains that Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never sell out my principles."

Whimsical Musk

Musk's visibly whimsical tendencies are at full display, as he has decided to fire all his guns against Farage. In another post earlier today, Musk misquoted Farage and claimed that the UK far-right leader called for "embracing Islam".

Interetingly, a community post right under the said post corrected this and added the following, "In the video clip posted, he talks about not politically alienating Muslims, not embracing Islam."

In addition, Musk also appears to be seemingly throwing his weight behind UK Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch.

Musk shared certain post, supporting and "agreeing" with UK opposition leader.

These developments come in the middle of the barrage of posts and comments from Musk, as he has tried to interfere in UK politics, trying to interfere it. Musk has been consistent and incessant in his attack against mainstream UK politicians, especially the UK PM Keir Starmer while supporting fringe elements in the public discourse
