Elon Musk's insurmountable influence in the United States and the current Trump Administration could not be overstated. And it is perhaps best exemplified by the most recent appearance of the Tesla boss with US President Donald Trump, at nowhere else but the centre of power in the US, the Oval Office.
Musk In Oval Office
While at the Oval Office, alongside Donald Trump, the SpaceX boss also had one of his youngest children, X Æ A-Xii, with him. Musk has made a habit of carrying his son around, on many occasions, on his shoulder to important official meetings.
In this particular instance, in his appearance at the Oval Office, Musk made some comments defending his Department of Government Efficency or DOGE.
Musk Defends DOGE
In one his comments, Musk said, " DOGE is trying to be as transparent as possible. We post our actions to the DOGE 𝕏 handle and on the DOGE website. I don't think there's been where an organization has been more transparent than the DOGE organization."
Musk also made claims that some of the Social Security recipients are 150-years old.
In another remark, he said, The people voted for major government reform… and THAT’S what they’re going to get.”

Musk's Overreach
When pressed on questions over his various claims, including his fake claims that USAID money was being used to supply condoms to Gaza, Musk nonchalantly said that some of the comments, that he makes on X may be wrong.
In the recent past, Musk has been rampant in his foray into US government departments. He has been accused of overreach. However, as per recent reports, Donald Trump has asked his government agencies and department to co-ordinate with Musk's Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE, further emoboldening the richest man in the world.
