Mumbai: BSE Limited has announced a Demat Auction for Wednesday, June 4, 2025, under Rolling Settlement DR-643/2025-26. This auction is open to trading members of the Exchange who are interested in purchasing securities.

The auction process will take place in different time slots. From 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., members can submit their offers through the trading terminals. The Exchange will then match these offers between 2:45 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Reports on accepted auction offers and delivery statements will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Finally, the money statement and final reports will be issued between 3:35 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The pay-in for the auction will happen the next day, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Members and custodians should make sure they fulfill their pay-in obligations on time through the depositories.

As per the updated rules, trading members can now offer securities in auctions even if they had short-delivered the same in the same settlement. The earlier restriction has been lifted after the new membership structure was introduced in the Equity Cash Segment.

Members must enter correct security codes and rates, as no changes will be allowed later. The Exchange also has the right to accept or reject any bid without giving a reason.

Members should check for any corporate actions like Ex-Rights, Ex-Bonus, or stock splits while bidding.
