An ambulance was handed over for the people of Daman by the late Sumanben Sureshbhai Trivedi family in Daman on May 27, 2021 to the Deputy Collector of Daman Charmi Parekh. Sureshbhai Trivedi, Sunitaben Trivedi, Pramodbhai Trivedi, Trivedi family members were present and presented an ambulance to Darjiwad Moti Daman on behalf of the family. Deputy Collector of Daman Charmi Parekh was present as the chief guest at the event, It was a sad moment for Sumanben's family, but they think about how their family can be helpful in serving the people in this time of epidemic crisis and decided to surve daman people with giving an ambulance. In this event Daman Nagarpalika president Sonal Patel, General Secretary BJP Vasu Patel, Municipal Councilor Pramod Rana, Damanwada Panchayat Sarpanch Mukesh Gosavi, Patlara District Panchayat Member Mehul Patel, Trusty of Hindu Cemetery Land Ashok Rana, Bharatbhai Bhatt, Pramod Sah, Advocate Bhaktiben, Devesh Gajre, Ishwar Patel, Nalin Gajre, Umesh Tandel, Nirbhay Ojha, Mahadev Mangala, Kishore Damania, Kalpesh Prajapati and Darjiwad Moti Daman were present.
At present this ambulance service is available only from Daman to Mumbai and from Daman to Surat.
