Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has announced a mock trading session for the Equity segment on Saturday, July 5, 2025. This session is designed to help trading members test and validate their systems, platforms, and risk management protocols under various market conditions.

As per the notice, this session will support compliance with SEBI’s circular SEBI/HO/MRD1/DSAP/CIR/P/2020/234, which mandates software testing for trading and risk systems. Members can use either the mock session or the UAT environment for this purpose.

Trading members using third-party trading platforms are also encouraged to test functionalities such as block deals, trading halts, risk-reduction modes, and different types of call auction sessions. There is no new BOLT TWS release during this session.

The mock session runs from 10:15 AM to 4:00 PM across multiple phases including block deal windows, pre-open, continuous trading, auction sessions, and trade modifications.

Members are requested to share their feedback by 4:30 PM. For assistance, BSE Tech Support and Helpdesk are available through email and phone.
