Arun Srinivas To Lead Meta In India, New Role Focuses On Growth, Innovation & Stronger Partnerships

Arun Srinivas has been named Meta’s new Managing Director and Head in India. Starting July 1, 2025, he will lead growth and innovation, working closely with partners and clients while reporting to Sandhya Devanathan.

Meta has announced the appointment of Arun Srinivas as the new Managing Director and Head for Meta in India. This change comes as Sandhya Devanathan takes on a bigger role, now leading both India and South East Asia for the company.

Starting July 1, 2025, Arun will officially begin his new position. He will continue to report to Sandhya Devanathan. In this role, he will lead Meta’s work in India and focus on growing the business, building strong relationships with advertisers, developers, and partners, and driving innovation.

His goal will be to bring together Meta’s business, technology, and revenue plans in India. This will help Meta serve its clients and partners better and support long-term growth in the country.

Arun has worked at Meta since 2020 and is currently the Director and Head of Ads Business in India. He has helped lead Meta’s partnerships with India’s top advertisers and agencies, especially in areas like AI, Reels, and Messaging.

Before Meta, Arun held senior roles at big companies such as Hindustan Unilever, Reebok, OLA, and WestBridge Capital. He has close to 30 years of experience in sales and marketing. He studied at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kolkata.

Speaking on the appointment, Sandhya Devanathan said, “India is a fast-growing and innovative market. Arun has a strong record of building great teams and strong partnerships. He is the right person to lead Meta in India. I’m excited to work with him as we grow further.”

Arun’s leadership will focus on continuing Meta’s strong presence in India and helping the company grow in areas such as AI, WhatsApp, and Reels.

With his knowledge and experience, Arun Srinivas is expected to take Meta’s efforts in India to the next level.
