23rd Nov’18 at St. Regis, Mumbai- In the corporate world and in various industries, not many women are seen in CXO position. As per the recent statistics at the CEO position worldwide there are 3%-4% women, most of the women while they are in the middle management & senior management quit their jobs. In light of this, this conference had the next generation of women leaders & renowned professionals from various walks of life in attendance.
The 3rd Future Woman Leader Summit & Awards conference hall had speakers pulsing with stories of struggles that women face day in day out & it was very full of inspiration, ground-breaking & courageous real life experiences that other women could draw insights from.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Shweta Shalini, Chief Evangelist, Billenium Divas Fund & BJP Spokesperson, GoM redefined power & shared her badass experience of how women need to brand their own identity where she firmly believed that talent & ambition has no gender. She invited women to associate with Billenium Divas & how it has touched the life of many women by offering opportunities to get back in the professional mode after their career break. The awards recognised the women that strengthened leadership and participation in corporates that is critical for sustainable organisational development. There were 20 Winners & 15 recognition awards for the five award categories i.e. Women Entrepreneur of the Year 2018, Women Leader with a Purpose Award 2018, Most Influential Leader of the Year 2018, The Charismatic Leader of the Year 2018, The Inspiring Leader of the Year 2018 with 80 delegates participating at the Summit.
At the summit, during panel discussion Tanya Chaitanya, Chief Community Officer and Editor, Femina spoke on a renewed sense of direction and paradigm shift that needs to be implemented in today’s organization to retain and enhance support system for women and also shared an insight exposure to the issues faced by women in diverse parts of India.
