Actress Sonali Bendre recently attended CFBP Consumer Film Festival and supported the cause of cancer awareness. The event was organised in Mumbai by chairperson of CFBP Consumer Film Festival, Kiren Srivastav, who is also Sonali's friend.
Talking about the event, Sonali said, “It was my honour to be here. In whatever capacity I can, I will always be there to help and support the cause of cancer survivors. I love the fact that the proceeds from this show go towards cancer patients who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get the right treatment. Thank you Shaina NC for being such a committed advocate for cancer patients and for leading such events."
Apart from Sonali, there were other delegates including Shekhar Bajaj, Justice B.N. Srikrishna, Swapnil Kothari, Ridham Desai, Padma Shri Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Dr Mickey Mehta (Global leading holistic health Guru) Shaina NC (Politician and Fashion Designer) present at the event.
To the unversed, Sonali Bendre was diagnosed with cancer in 2018.
Recently, the actress also made her OTT debut with Zee5's web series The Broken News along with Jaideep Ahlawat, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Indraneil Sengupta, Taaruk Raina, Aakash Khurana and Kiran Kumar.
