Mandakini, who became famous with her debut film, Raj Kapoor's blockbuster film 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili', and then courted notoriety briefly with her rumoured association with Dawood Ibrahim, is making a comeback in the upcoming music video titled 'Maa O Maa'.

The teaser of the song, which was released on Friday, features Mandakini with her son Rabbil Thakur, actress Babita Banerjee, and child artistes Simran and Chirag.

This is the first time that Mandakini, who became a follower of the Dalai Lama in 1990, and has been a teacher of Tibetan yoga, will be seen in an entertainment product after she quit Bollywood with the 1996 film 'Zordaar'.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Mandakini spoke about her iconic breastfeeding scene from 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili'.

She said, “First of all, it was not a breastfeeding scene, it was shot in such a way that it could look like one. If I go on to explain how it was done, it would be too long (a story). The cleavage that is seen on screen, you see so much of it, it is all technically done. But the way skin show is done in today's times, that was nothing. We should not be even talking about it. It (her scene) was also a pure form. Nowadays, it is all about sexuality.”

For those unversed, 'Ram Teri Ganga Maili' was a 1985 romantic drama directed by Raj Kapoor and featured Mandakini and Rajiv Kapoor in lead roles. The film courted controversy for its breastfeeding scene as well as for showing Mandakini bathing in a transparent saree. It was also the last film directed by Kapoor.

The 'Maa O Maa' music video, directed by Sajan Agarwal, will soon be released on the Filmy Clap YouTube channel.
