Indian professional boxer and politician Vijender Singh has been roped in to act in Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'.
Salman shared the news on Vijender’s birthday and tweeted a picture of him seated with Vijender as well as other cast members - Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, and Raghav Juyal.
He wrote, “ Happy bday hamare boxer bhai @boxervijender .. welcome on board #KisiKaBhaiKisiKiJaan”
Singh is known for winning a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, making him the first Indian boxer to win an Olympic medal for India.
Vijender made his Bollywood debut with the 2014 film 'Fugly' starring Mohit Marwah, Kiara Advani, Jimmy Shergill, and Arfi Lamba.
Meanwhile, Salman recently announced that 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' will hit the theatres countrywide on Eid 2023.
'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', which was earlier reportedly titled 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali', is directed by Farhad Samji, known for movies such as 'Housefull 4' and 'Bachchhan Paandey'.
Salman officially announced the movie in August when he completed 34 years in the Hindi film industry. It will also feature Pooja Hegde, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Jagapathi Babu, and Venkatesh Daggubati.
The movie is produced by Salman's production banner Salman Khan Films.
