In a bizarre incident, a man was arrested in Russia’s Domodedovo airport in Moscow for trying to board a flight naked while shouting about how clothes made him less agile and aerodynamic.
A video was the incident has gone viral on the social media, where it can be seen that passengers waiting in line to board a flight while the man, fully nude, stands in the queue patiently and oblivious to others around him, waiting for his turn to hop on the plane. He can even be seen crossing himself several times as the line slowly moved ahead. In the video, it is also seen that the man kisses what looked like a locket around his neck.
The passengers standing ahead of him hardly seem bothered by the man’s nudity for the most part of the viral video. The Moscow Times, said that the man, who was fully naked, was trying to board a Ural Airlines plane to Crimea at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. The naked man was stopped by the airport staff before he could board. He was then detained by police and handcuffed on the floor.
After being detained the man said that he was naked as “clothes make body aerodynamics worse” so “it’s easier to fly” nude. A witness of the entire incident told the Moscow Times that, the man apparently passed through the Ural Airlines flight’s registration before suddenly stripping off his clothes and running stark naked onto the jet bridge.
“After the police had detained the offender, he was taken to the airport’s medical room and then was hospitalised in a medical facility. The offender is a native of Yakutsk but lives in the Moscow region,” the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Central Federal District said in a statement. After the man was detained the cops took him to the medical room of the airport and was later hospitalised in the medical facility.
