Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A youth grabbed a police constable's collar after being stopped for having a improper number plate in Jabalpur on Thursday.

The entire incident was caught on video, which is now being widely circulated on social media.

In the footage, the youth can be clearly seen behaving in a disrespectful and aggressive manner towards the constable. He is seen grabbing the police officer by the collar, shouting at him, and forcefully pushing him back in front of bystanders.

Check out the video below :

Another youth who was present at the spot can be seen in the video trying to stop the accused from misbehaving with the police constable. He appears to intervene and calm the situation, but despite his efforts, the accused refuses to listen. Ignoring all attempts to stop him, he continues to act aggressively, pushing and arguing with the constable without any hesitation.

According to information, the youth misbehaved with the constable during a routine vehicle checking near Sadar Chaupati in Jabalpur.

The youth got angry when the constable began issuing a challan. He started arguing, grabbed the constable’s collar, and pushed him.

What’s more concerning is that several other police personnel were present during the entire incident. However, none of them stepped forward to control the situation or support their fellow officer.

The video of the incident is now going viral on social media, drawing strong public reactions and raising serious questions about the increasing incidents of misbehaviour with on-duty policemen, and the lack of timely response from law enforcement in such cases.
