Bhopal: The Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya, has again raked up the issue of ‘Vastudosh’ in the state Assembly building, following the death of leader of opposition Satyadev Katare.
With Vijayvargiya Tweeting on the issue, Congress MLAs have also demanded that the building should be freed from Vastu Dosh.
Former minister Mukesh Nayak maintains that he feels uneasy on several occasions while sitting inside the House. He said the Vastudosh of state Assembly should be removed. Nayak said MLAs are meeting with untimely death ever since the new state Assembly has been built. BJP MLA Velsingh Bhuria too maintains that religious rituals should be performed inside the Assembly.
MLA Nishank Jain is of the view that there is Vastudosh in state Assembly building and the government should get it removed. Although Assembly Speaker Sitasharan Sharma said he does not believe in Vastu but if MLAs want something done, then he would hold discussions with them and with Kailash Vijayvargiya.
Home minister Bhupendra Singh has rejected the talk of state Assembly having any ‘Vastudosh’. Public works department minister Rampal Singh maintains it is for the Speaker to take decisions about the assembly building.
The issue of state Assembly building suffering from Vastu dosh has been raised in the past too. Former speaker Shrinivas Tiwari got changes made in state Assembly to make it suitable from Vastu angle and also got religious rituals performed.
So far six MLAs of the 14th state Assembly have died. They include Prabhat Pandey, Rajesh Yadav, Tukojirao Puar, Sajjan Singh Uikey, Rajendra Dadu and Satyadev Katare.
