Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): In a scathing attack on chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and senior Congress leader on Thursday has brought to fore the ‘infamous’ case in which former BJP IT cell member Dhruv Saxena along with 10 more were arrested by Anti-terrorist Square (ATS) of Madhya Pradesh on charges of spying for Pakistan’s ISI.

Singh’s response came a day after BJP leaders took on his tweet over Indian officers meeting with Taliban. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had said that Digvijaya Singh’s mentality was Talibani while senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said a probe was being done into Singh’s links.

“Shivraj ji, May I ask you as to why sedition charges were not imposed on your dear pupil and IT Cell head Dhruv Saxena, who was arrested by your police on charges of spying for Pakistan’s agency ISI? You don’t miss a chance to call me a traitor, but you don’t take action against the real traitors. You allow them to obtain bails. Why didn't the government challenge his (Dhruv Saxena) bail in the Supreme Court? Now, you tell me who is a traitor, you or me?” the Congress leader tweeted.

While replying to Chouhan, Singh tweeted, “It has been exposed that the Modi government is having secret conversations with the Taliban. Now, you tell whose mentality is Talibani, mine or Modiji’s?”

On BJP state president VD Sharma’s statement that NIA must probe against Singh’s activities, Singh said that Sharma must think before writing a letter. “Now, Modi is holding an all parties’ meet on J&K, does it not come under ‘relook’”, he tweeted.
